An Excalibur Girl is the maiden of yesteryear—a Victorian princess draped in ribbon embroidery, pin-tucking and lush jewel tones with a Degas’ ballerina silhouette. An Excalibur Girl is the dashing aristocrat from once upon a time, shaping court politics, waging love and war, riding horses and drinking tea—and all in meticulously tailored velvet. An Excalibur Girl is the modern businesswoman with a flare for the unique and quirky, and an eye for fashion, historical or otherwise. And sometimes, an Excalibur Girl is a pirate on the open seas or in the air with antiqued leather, brass, and military regalia, but I digress…
Excalibur Girls is an anachronism; our vision is of the past that never was. While heavily inspired by the Victorian and Georgian (Rococo) periods, our collections draw on Baroque, Regency, Edwardian, and 1930s-60s fashions with a sprinkle of fae and elven detailing in-between. Our clothing is timeless and deliberately NOT trendy – so that it can be worn for many years to come. Our designs will always retain the basic principles of a proper fit and a flattering body-line. Our policies are beauty, craftsmanship, versatility and longevity. Our goal is to create wearable art for you.
Because elegance never goes out of style.
