I design in color. My garment’s lines and embellishments organically grow from mental hue combinations. I also think mono-color coordinates that use alternating shades of the same color can make for some of the most interesting outfits. For Excalibur Girls’ first collection I wanted to bridge the gap between winter and spring, with rich, classic jewel tones and complimentary floral shades that aren’t quite pastels. Both color groups are versatile enough for year round use, and will also mix well with the colors of our upcoming summer collection.
Jewel Tones (Admiral Blue, African Violet, Emerald Green, Dark Cherry)

Complimentary Shades (Slate, Amethyst, Sage, Scarlet)

Cool Pastels (Ice Blue, Violet, Pale Mint, Sweet Rose)

Neutrals (Snow White, Antique White, Black)

Accent Colors (Lemon Yellow, Antique Gold, French Grey)
